I prefer to follow a holistic approach to life everywhere I can. The easiest to do is of course inter-twining of hobbies and craft with recurring motifs, sometimes (partly) invented by myself.
These Flower Pot Twins were intended as gifts to my gardener-friends. One of them climbs a steep career ladder of a corporate IT department, the other is impersonating Evil Fey and other freedom-loving souls in our ttRPG sessions.
This resonates well with the paintings inspired by an RPG module - I promise! - one day I'll finish and publish. The module in question is to become essentially a one-shots generator in a preset environment of a fictional town politics, with two factions allied as a ruling technocratic-theocracy, while other two join forces as an occult rebel opposition.
^ the Ruling Elites will be represented by Sun-worshiping Theocracy and their Retro-Engineering allies
Technically those were fun to make with little hassle: tiled walls and pallets form hexagonal shapes that are easy to achieve given one has an angled cutter for 30 and 60 degrees angles. I transferred the images from my 3D-scenes drafts using scaled prints as references (but rather painting them again by hand than copying). The final layer is transparent glaze for the pots and matte black one for the pallets (love their final look too).

The gifts are sent. Hope they'll reach their destinations. Both named housings in London and proud faraway countries like Armenia gave extra amount of surprise to the lady at the counter of Correos.
